Community and Events Fundraising Lead
Salary £26,838 per year
Up to 37.5 hours per week
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Community and Events Fundraising Lead to join our Fundraising Team. If you have experience in building relationships, planning events and feel confident speaking to a variety of audiences, we would love to hear from you.
You will work well as part of a team, have outstanding communication skills and thrive in a fast paced and ever changing fundraising environment.
Working closely with members of the fundraising team and across the wider hospice, you will be at the heart of our fundraising success, helping to ensure vital income streams are safeguarded and increased. Your work will enable the hospice to make a meaningful difference to the lives of those in our community, from all backgrounds, who are affected by life – shortening conditions.

Working on annual events which take place each year – collaborating with other local charities and businesses
Building a local presence by being visible in the community
Attending events and generating income
Talking at schools and local clubs to raise awareness
Educating local people and organisations on the charity, the work we do, and how the money raised will impact people’s lives
Weekend and evening work is essential when events dictate, however, time off lieu can be accrued to compensate
