Based within a purpose built LITE – Lymphoedema Intensive Therapy Experience – suite at St Catherine’s Hospice, the successful candidate will join a highly skilled and experienced team caring for patients across Central Lancashire, Southport and Formby, West Lancashire and beyond.
As one of the few Lymphoedema services in the country to care for both adults and children, this is a unique opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders with varying conditions and complex needs. We’re proud of the award-winning team’s achievements to date, and the facilities and state-of-the-art treatments we can offer which embrace the latest technologies, equipment and research.
A team player who is always keen to develop their skills and expertise further, the successful candidate will be able to process and impart complex information to their patients in a meaningful way with compassion and understanding.
You’ll feel confident promoting a culture of independence and self-management within our patients, delivered in partnership with the most intensive and specialist treatments which have the power to transform the lives of those with Lymphoedema.
Applicants should be registered practitioners with a healthcare qualification looking for an exciting challenge of completing a Lymphoedema qualification alongside clinical activity to develop in to the role of Specialist Lymphoedema Therapist on a fully funded development programme. Please note that on appointment to the development role, your ongoing employment is subject to successful completion of the development programme within the time frame of 18 -24 months.
