Beth runs in Brighton
Beth Langley recently completed the Brighton Half Marathon in support of St Catherine’s. Here she describes why she took part:”I wanted to raise some money for the Hospice as the staff at St Catherine’s cared for my mum in the last few weeks of her life last year. I am so grateful for the care and attention you all gave her and I know she appreciated it as well, despite her pain and sadness. It was a very tough time for our large family but we were always made to feel welcome and given the time we needed. Friends and family have been very generous so I managed to raise £1,271. My work (Noble Foods) have pledged £500 to the cause. The day of the run itself was fantastic – lovely bright sunshine and not too cold, I even managed to run it within my sub two hour target.Once again, many thanks for everything you all did for my mum.”
Thank you Beth!
