Charity night nets funds in memory of a dear friend
Colleagues from the Post Office Card Accounts joined together to raise money for St Catherine’s in memory of a much-loved friend.
The charity evening featuring a performance from former X-Factor contestant Jonjo Kerr was organised by Katie Sharples, James Peace-Mankeiwicz and Andy Proctor in memory of Dawn Morley, their good friend and colleague who sadly died at the hospice in April at the age of just 34.
Earlier the same day Jonjo and Andy’s sister Helen had St Catherine’s Hospice butterfly tattoos and collected sponsorship, while a raffle on the night – featuring a host of prizes including a week in Spain – raised further funds.
In total the event raised a brilliant £1,436.08.
The cheque was presented by Andy Proctor, Katie Sharples, James Peace-Mankiewicz, Clare Rafferty and little Grace Rafferty.
Andy said:”Dawn was an amazing woman and we wanted to do something in her memory for St Catherine’s, a cause which is already very close to my heart.”
