Festive fundraiser with a difference organised by Brownedge St Mary’s School
Secondary school pupils from a Bamber Bridge school dressed up as Santa for a game of Whizz Ball with a difference.
More than 100 students took part in a series of games, each one paying an entry fee to take part which was donated to St Catherine’s.
St Catherine’s senior fundraiser Norman Cutler said: “This was one of the more unusual festive events organised by a school in the run up to Christmas and it looked like lots of fun!
“We’re always impressed with the creativity that students and teachers show when coming up with ideas to raise funds.”
