How we’ve been connected this #HospiceCareWeek
This week saw St Catherine’s and other hospices up and down the country mark #HospiceCareWeek – a national campaign to raise awareness of the work of the hospice sector within the UK.
Led by Hospice UK, the national voice of hospice care, the campaign encouraged member hospices to make a noise to raise awareness about the different hospice care makes , centred around the theme ‘Hospice Care, Connecting Care’.
Throughout this week, we’ve shown how we are connected to our community – our trained nurses have been out and about in our shops answering any hospice care queries customers may have, and each day this week, we’ve given you five different case studies of five different people who are connected to hospice care. Get to know them by watching our video especially made for Hospice Care Week here.
In addition, our staff, volunteers, supporters and patients all tell you how they’re connected to hospice care especially for #HospiceCareWeek. From our administration team to our nurses, our volunteers to our patients, take a look at how St Catherine’s is connected to hospice care in our gallery below.
