Mayors make annual Christmas visit to St Catherine’s
The Mayors of Chorley, Preston and South Ribble took time out of their busy festive calendars to visit St Catherine’s Hospice.
The visits are arranged each Christmas, when the Mayors meet with staff, volunteers and patients and find out more about the charity’s work.
This year we welcomed South Ribble Mayor Coun Mick Titherington and his wife Carole; Preston Mayor Coun Brian Rollo and wife Trisha, and Chorley Mayor Coun Mark Perks and the Mayoress Coun Pat Haughton.
The group met with hospice Chief Executive Stephen Greenhalgh and other senior managers, before visiting a day therapy Christmas party and taking a tour of the recently refurbished in-patient unit.
