Pals’ marathon golf effort for the hospice
Two friends used their passion for putting to raise cash for St Catherine’s Hospice!
David Mason and Andrew Claderbank played 72 holes of golf in one day and raised a brilliant £600 to support the hospice’s work. The game, which involved walking more than nine miles around the course, took a mammoth 16 hours to complete!
The duo were inspired in their efforts by the care and support David’s granddad received from St Catherine’s Hospice during his battle with cancer.
David said: “This was our way of giving something back for their help. Thank you to everyone who showed their support for our fundraiser.”
