Symphony at the Tower set to return!
A popular musical event organised in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice which featured two nights of entertainment for the first time last year is returning again in 2014.
The hospice’s Symphony at the Tower spectacular will take place this year on Friday July 4th and Saturday July 5th, once again in the stunning surroundings of Hoghton Tower.
The acts performing are set to be announced soon, so be sure to keep checking here and on the St Catherine’s Hospice Facebook page and Twitter feed.
Last year’s event featured The Human League with support from The Christians on the Friday night, followed by a night of classical music presented by Aled Jones on the Saturday. The concert from the Heart of England Philharmonic Orchestra also featured performances from Sophie Evans, star of the BBC’s Over The Rainbow.
