Moonlight and Memories Walk 2024

  • Please note that online registration has now closed; you can still sign up at the event between 6pm and 6.30pm. Registration fees will be £20 for adults and £15 for children on the night. Thank you.

We’re really looking forward to the Moonlight and Memories Walk this Saturday 22nd June.

Take on this poignant evening walk in memory of your loved ones, while raising much-needed funds for our charity. The 6-mile and 8-mile challenges both start at 8pm, (you can choose which route to take part in on the night).

When you return to St Catherine’s you’ll be presented with a medal and treated to a delicious hot sandwich from The Mill to celebrate your incredible achievement.

Everyone is welcome to the hospice grounds from 6pm to enjoy a host of entertainment and activities, to take part in remembrance opportunities, and to stock up on sparkly accessories from our stalls.

Please be aware there is no parking available at the hospice; please park at Sainsbury’s on Cuerden Way

• If you haven’t picked your t-shirt up yet, we’d be grateful if you could collect these from The Mill Shop in advance if possible. It’s located next door to The Mill café in our grounds, and is open each day 9.30am-4.30pm.

• If you are unable to collect your t-shirt before the event, some will be available on the night.

•  Online registration closes a few days before, but people can still sign up between 6pm and 6.30pm at the event; please note the registration fees will be £20 for adults and £15 for children on the night.

• Thank you to our event sponsors James Hall & Co for helping to cover the running costs, so that all sponsorship raised can go directly towards our specialist palliative and end-of-life care of local people
