Morecambe Bay Walk

Take part in one of the most unique and scenic walks in England, with our eight-mile trek across the beautiful sands of Morecambe Bay – kindly sponsored by Redline.

Take on this iconic walk with spectacular panoramic views and photo opportunities, and immerse yourself in Morecambe Bay’s unique scenery and wildlife – all whilst raising sponsorship to help support the important work of your local hospice.

Crossing the sands with an experienced and knowledgeable guide is the only way to traverse the ever-changing flats and channels, and takes around three to four hours.

Registration is £15 per adult and £10 per child. Return transport from the hospice in Lostock Hall is also available; this can be booked once you have registered for the walk*

Please note there is a £1 charge per dog and this is payable on the day to the event guide at the start of the walk, although dogs are not permitted on the coach from the hospice.

*Participants Travelling By Coach – for those using the coach service, please aim to arrive at 1pm at the car park of The Mill cafe, St Catherine’s Park, PR5 5XU. The coach will leave at 1.20pm to allow time for registration upon arrival, to commence the walk at 3pm.
