Light Up a Life 2024
Let a loved one shine on at our Light Up a Life light switch-on on Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd December from 5.30pm at St Catherine’s Park
We invite you to join us and make a dedication to remember someone special. Your loved one’s name will be included in our special Light Up a Life Remembrance Book, which can be viewed at at The Mill on the day, and online afterwards. You will also receive a personalised Light Up a Life card to display at home in their honour.
Dedications help to fund the Light Up a Life lights, which glow brightly in our grounds throughout the festive season, in recognition of the lasting impact of those we have lost. Dedications, however small or large, are welcome in memory of anyone dear to you, and can include more than one special person.
It’s an event for the whole community, not just those cared for by the hospice. At 5.30pm on both nights, after a short service and a carol from the choir, the poignant lights will illuminate the gardens of St Catherine’s Park, each one shining brightly as a tribute to those we love and miss.
By making a Light Up a Life dedication in memory of a loved one, you’re supporting our work in the community and celebrating the life they lived.
Please note that only dedications made before Monday 25th November 2024 will be included in the Light Up a Life Remembrance Book. Dedications are still welcome after this date, and will be added to the Light Up a Life Remembrance Book at a later date.
