Catharine Dunn 1952 - 2008

Next year would have been a big birthday for mum as she would have been turning 70. I would love to be organising a big surprise party for her with lots of treats to spoil her with! Instead, I’m going to use this special birthday to do something I know she’d be really proud of and raise some money for an amazing charity. She experienced first-hand the difference hospice care can make (albeit not at St Catherine’s) and I know she’d be very happy that her birthday could raise some money to help others going through similar experiences. We’d love to hear any memories you have of mum from birthdays gone by or other special days. Any donation, no matter what size, would also be so appreciated by us and St Catherine’s. We hope you’ll join us in raising a glass to celebrate her birthday and remembering what an amazing woman – wife, mum, friend, teacher and colleague – she was. Thank you!
