Mum, a truly beautiful tribute for a very special lady – Nan really was the proudest Mum…she simply couldn’t have dreamed of a better daughter…she thought the absolute world of you – And will continue to beam with pride as she peers down & shines upon you from heaven
Nan, goodbye truly is the hardest word – The last few weeks watching you deteriorate have been incredibly difficult and I’m feeling rather broken and empty right now….it just doesn’t seem real…but I do take comfort in knowing that your suffering has ended, you was surrounded by your beloved husband George, your Allison, your Lucy and myself during your final moments and you are now at peace
I’d like to thank you for loving and accepting me as your own since I was little girl – You watched me grow and supported me through the years and then went on to treasure my children as your precious Great Grandchildren….You will never know how much that meant to me – We all feel incredibly lucky to have had your love in our lives and we will forever treasure the time we spent with you and the memories we created together
You was the definition of kind and caring with a huge heart, a beautiful smile and great sense of humour with an abundance of wit – You will be missed forever but remain in our thoughts and hearts always & we will take care of Grandad for you while you rest easy xXx
